Once in a while when I meditate I sense my grandmother’s presence as a dove resting on my shoulder.
I finally decided to share this with my mom one day, I held off for a while because I didn’t want to make her sad, but she smiled and said that my Savta (grandma) loved birds. I never knew that, and so it was a moving moment for me. Still is.
What a blessing that you and your friend have each other. Your card is beyond thoughtful. In time may there be more smiles than tears from the memories shared. 🙏💜

I wasn’t finished he couldn’t stop crying and we told him that the cardinal would represent his father until this day. Whenever he sees a cardinal he thinks of his dad it helped that little boy so much at such a horrible time for him.

Breaks my heart! But there is comfort in the cardinal! One appears to me whenever I need him!
Five years ago, my great nephew lost his father. It was only six years old.
